Radio 102.3 Centre-Ville is multicultural and multilingual community channel (not-for-profit), works for Radio Centre-Ville Saint-Louis. On 21 October 1974, CRTC gave a license to the radio, telecasting from Montreal. The channel would work on 99.3 MHz frequency with the wattage power of 7200 watts. Legally termed as CINQ-FM on air first firm on 27 January 1975. In 1976, the request for the change in frequency of 102.3 MHz and wattage power of 36 w was approved by CRTC. In 1985, the Effected Radiated power was raised to 50 w but 1988, CRTC rejected the application of further increment of ERP to 1545 w. Nonetheless, In March 1990 Radio Centre-Ville finally permitted to raise up the transmitter wattage up to 1545 w. In 1991, the wattage was then again gone down to 1285. On 14 December 2012, the license of the station was re-validated for seven several years, whose expiry date was 31st August 2019.
