KAIT TV 8 News Online Streaming


KAIT TV 8 News telecasts 24 hours per day on its official site. It is known as an entertainment station located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, US. Raycom Media owns the station, plus it is affiliated with NBC and ABC. The channel used brand names like regional 8 and KAIT 8. It was developed on July 15, 1963, as an autonomous channel. It was affiliated with ABC in 1965, and George Hernreich was the one who found it. In 1984, he sold it to the Channel Communications. In 1986, Cosmos Broadcasting bought the station. In 2005, Raycom Media came forward and purchased it. The channel also operated in the region of Blytheville, Arkansas as K11JW, a low-powered station.
NBC started its programming production on Jan 26, 2015. It used a catchphrase for a long time, i.e., “Good Neighbors You Can Turn To” which was then replaced with “Always, Tracking, Always Watching, Always On.” 


Currently KAIT telecasts twenty-four and half hours of locally produced newscasts every week from which it produces four and half hours during weekdays and one hour on weekends. The reporting staff of the members of KAIT also serves as station’s photojournalists, besides reporting local news stories. The local newscasts of KAIT were rebranded by changing the former branding K8 News into Region 8 News; they used it during the much of the 1980s.
