Many stores to open again on Friday, says Newsom

The California Governor Gavin Newsome stated on Monday that some of the stores in different states would open again on Friday for their businesses as a plan to reopen the economy and exit the social distancing to fight against coronavirus pandemic. Several selective retail shops, including clothing stores, bookstores, and florists, will be allowed to offer pickup services on Friday, says the Democratic governor.
However, the guidelines to reopen the retail stores will be publicized on Thursday, and these small businesses must have to follow those guidelines to carry out their activities. While announcing the lifting of the ban over the small businesses, Newsom said that millions of California people respected his request of stay-at-home, and he admires them for this. He further noted that California is now in such a position to move a little bit forward; it is a step to move to the next phase of easing down the restrictions.

But everyone should be careful and make no mistake, as the virus is still out there, which is treacherous and give rise to a considerable health risk to the public. All these orders of reopening the businesses will be passing through proper observation and investigation.

Moreover, Newsom further added that the government would permit only a few states to move forward and act on this plan of reopening businesses if the supervisors and health officials let them.
The governor of California made this announcement as some US states set to reopen retail stores while other gather spots are in question. Meanwhile, public health experts are warning continuously about the risk of throwing social distancing guidelines too early.

Health officials believe that to control the virus without strict social guidelines, one must think about increasing the pace of coronavirus testing and contact tracing. It would be necessary if we want to go back to our regular routine.
