Sporting FC offered 50.6m Pounds fee for keeping their captain Bruno Fernandes

Recently, Manchester United made a 46.5 million pounds bid over Bruno Fernandes who is currently playing for Sporting FC. But, it seems Sporting will not let go of their captain so easily as they offered 50.6 million pounds staying fee to him.

The English Club’s manager is lacing an attacking midfielder in his squad, and he is desperate to fill the position in this January. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is planning a long-term future of the club without their crucial player Paul Pogba, and Fernandes is his top choice right now.

Last week, the Manchester offered £42.5m (excluding the bonuses of £8.5m) to the Sporting club for the young midfielder Bruno Fernandes, but the Portuguese are not showing any interest to this bid.
Still, the Red Devils were positive about the situation and hoping to reach some agreement this winter, on the other hand, it seems Sporting has started to lower their demands for the attacking midfielder.

Plus, the Sporting FC is also expecting some competitive bids from other European clubs as well in the next few days.

Darren Fletcher also shed some lights on the discussion. He said that United could get some hand by signing Bruno Fernandez or Edinson Cavani before the deadline for January transfer window reaches. You can read about Ashley Young Manchester United Winger here.

While interviewing the former midfielder of United, when BBC Sport asked about Cavani, he mentioned that the club didn’t want this, as they already tried that once and they know the result, but maybe the current situation demands something else, so they have no choice.

He further added there are also some rumours about Cavani going to Chelsea and they cannot let that happen. Moreover, he isn’t sure whether Cavani is moving to Atletico Madrid or Chelsea, they have the make sure that this thing doesn’t happen, and he joins Old Trafford.
