According to the figure of 2013 census, about 370 million
people of the world speak Arabic as the native language. Which has now exceed
the figure of 400 million. The Arabic speaking countries are mostly near the
Middle East, Persian Gulf and within the northern areas of the Continent of
Africa. In around 26 countries Arabic is recognized as an official language,
and 18 of them are considered having it as the major language. Arab Peninsula
initially created the Arabic language, and most of the speakers were from the
tribe of Nomadic. This is why it spread so much in the 4rth and 5th century.

Many of the countries that have the mother tongue as an
Arabic and most of them who speak Arabic are Muslims. Not just this, but almost
all of the Muslim’s prayers and recitation are in Arabic. Moreover, the
language of the Holy Quran is also in Arabic, Whether it is their native tongue
or not. If we consider it in that way, then we can say that Every Muslim in the
each corner of the world can write, speak and read Arabic which is about 1.8
billion people. But when it is the case about actually interacting with the
language for day-to-day communication and understanding it well then the figure
is 400 million.
There are some countries where the use of Arabic is
mentioned as the official language, the government uses and recognizes the
Arabic language in their academia and business as well. But there is one thing
that these countries have a minority Arabic speaker. For Instance, Sudan.
