Marcus Thuram and Jadon Sancho protest Floyd's death

On Sunday, Jadon Sancho, one of England’s best forwards, also joins his co-sport-stars and raises his voice against the racial discrimination among all who are protesting against this heinous act of racism.

A worldwide protest erupted when a black unarmed man George Floyd died by Minneapolis police officer while pinned down.

Jadon Sancho wears a Jersey with writing ‘Justice for George Floyd’ after kicking a goal against Paderborn. Before this, Marcus Thuram kneeled as a gesture to show support to George Floyd after hitting a goal for Borussia Moenchengladbach.


The referee waved a yellow card to Sancho for making that gesture in the match where he scored a hat-trick for Borussia Dortmund.

Later, Sancho posted on Instagram that he is pleased to get the first hat-trick of his career, the moment isn’t that much sweet for him as a lot is going in the world that they must need to indicate and help make a difference.

Floyd lost his life on Monday in police custody after Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis officer, pinned him down by putting his knee on George’s neck for approximately nine minutes. Since then, Derek is facing a murder charge.
