WRGB is known as the first experimental TV station in the world, which was started on 13 January 1928. The channel is affiliated with CBS and located in New York, US. It is working in the Capital District of New York called as Albany Schenectady Troy. The channel broadcasts 24/7 live transmission on its website. 

CBS 6 WRGB station is telecasting under the SinclairBroadcasting group’s ownership. They started the channel with test broadcast in the beginning but then later the station got popularity as the licensed commercial broadcasting TV channel before the ending of Second World War. The station telecasted its first transmission on 26 February 1942. 


WRBG is among one of the first TV channels telecasted from the general electric facility with the call-signs W2XB. It mostly recognized as WGY Television. Then in 1940, CB6 News began its sharing programming in New York along with W2XBS. The connection is established through the coaxial cable and after that by satellite. 

The other three secondary affiliated networks of WRGB are DuMont, ABC, and CBS in 1948. The station telecast its programming for 29 weeks, at the time.
