Paulo Gazzaniga
Paulo Gazzaniga was born on 2 January 1992 who is a professional footballer for Argentina; currently, he is providing his services to Tottenham Hotspur in Premier League as a Goalie. In 2007, Paulo began to attend the youth system of Valencia CF; before this, he made a debut in Union y Cultura (his hometown club). However, the goalie didn’t make it to Che’s first team, and they freed him in May 2011.
Gazzaniga made an agreement for two years with Gillingham (League Two Club); he had a slight competition with Ross Flitney for being picked up for the deal. Andy Hessenthaler who was his manager recommended Paulo to the club by Gary Penric who was the European scout of Wigan Athletic. After parting ways from Valencia CF, he started his first game for Gillingham on 4 October 2011 at home against Barnet in a match of Football League Trophy; the game was a win over Barnet with a 3-1 score.
Later, Gazzaniga signed four-year term with the Southampton Club which came right after his relegation terms with Gillingham; according to the deal, Tommy forecast would go into Gillingham in place of Paulo. This was indeed a bold move, and he termed it entirely a crazy situation for him, but at the same time, he said that it is his dream to be a part of Southampton. On 28 August 2012, he appeared in the first match of English Premier League Club Southampton versus Stevengage team in the Round 2 of League Cup; the Argentinean’s team won that one with a 4-1 score. After one month he played against Aston Villa, and his team won this game also with a 4-1 win. You can see Paulo Gazzaniga Biography here as well.
He got his place in the team as a second choice keeper for Kelvin Davis, Fraser Forster and Artur Boruc which means he would be in the game only as a substitute of these three goalies; he just represented for Southampton two times in 2014-15 Season. He appeared in two Premier League matches in 2015-16 Season against Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace, but in both of these games, Ampton suffered a significant defeat. Whereas for 2016-17 Season, he entered into Rayo Vallecano in La Liga 2’s Segunda Division on rent on 29 July 2016.
After that, Tottenham Hotspur took him in their club and made a five-year deal with him; he had a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino there. He played for Spur side for the first time on 5 November 2015 against Crystal Palace.
