Countries that Use Facebook the Most

From past few decades, the way Facebook is dominating the world, it is not hard to notice that countries are engaging with this social network with an astonishing rate. There are about 1.68 billion users of Facebook, and thus it is considered the number one social site in the world. By the End of March 2017, according to an estimate of Internet World Stats, there are 3.7 billion total users of the internet. Only in Asia, there are 1.86 billion users of the web, and this figure is greater than all of the other continents combined in the world, they have 1.84 billion users throughout. You know that out of a total number of internet users, about 1.12 billion people use Facebook, that is approximately 61%, and just Asia contains 559 million users of FB. The figure is way ahead from the second best continent that is Europe; it has 328 million users.

Now when we see China, then it has a huge number of internet users, that is around 721 million, and out of this just 1.8 million users are on Facebook; it is only 0.002 percent of the total internet users in the country. The reason is, it is prohibited in China, and people don’t think of need of using the Facebook by Proxy. They don’t need FB as their requirements can be full filled by Renren and other such social sites. Also, almost all of the people of China don’t think that there is a need for them to use western apps and sites. Nonetheless, the users of Facebook are increasing rapidly in the other countries on a daily basis. And this increase is more in under-developed countries in the past few years, that’s why the top 10 countries of Facebook users do not contain the countries like Italy, France and Germany. There are five countries from Asia in the list of Top 10 Facebook users, North America and Europe has two countries while the other one is from South America.
