WTTO is known to be a Sinclair Broadcast Group-owned channel which is licensed to Homewood and situated in Birmingham. On 6 November 1979, the Channel 21 came into existence and based at Riverchase office park on Concourse Parkway; however the transmitter was installed at Red Mountain. The sister networks of the station are WABM and WMBA-LD. WDBB that is owned by Cunningham Broadcasting and operated in Bessemer is known as the permanent broadcast relay service; however, Sinclair has the liberty to manage all the networks under time brokerage agreement. The transmitter location of WDBB is situated at the east side of State Route 69. The CW station’s transmission is carried down by the repeater to west-central Alabama.
